Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) ha pubblicato due bandi di prequalificazione per la costruzione della tratta sottomarina del gasdotto, 105 km sotto il mare Adriatico. La massima profondità a cui sarà posato il gasdotto è di 820 metri.
