Documentazione ESIA
La Valutazione di Impatto Sociale e Ambientale analizza i rischi e le opportunità connesse al progetto TAP. Prendendo in esame gli effetti sul patrimonio culturale e ambientale e sul tessuto socio-economico, l’ESIA illustra come eventuali effetti negativi saranno mitigati o eliminati, tramite il ricorso a tecnologie avanzate, e come TAP investirà in progetti ambientali e sociali a livello locale.
Di seguito si riporta la documentazione relativa a tutti i Paesi interessati dall’opera.

On the 28th of September 2011 the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) announced that it has submitted Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment (PEIA) to the Greek Ministry of Environment. This document was revised and resubmitted to the Greek authorities on the 8th of February 2012. This revision considers changes to the overall engineering concept of the project in which one compressor station originally foreseen near to the village of Nea Mesimvria is not required anymore.

On 7th of June the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) commenced its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process in Greece. The submission of its Scoping Report to the Greek authorities comes after similar moves in Albania and Italy earlier this year and will follow the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) guidelines, recognised as the benchmark for international best practice.

As part of its stakeholder engagement activities, TAP is disclosing the contents of the ESIA report to the local communities in Albania. Residents of areas potentially affected by the pipeline are invited to provide their views and comments, which will be incorporated in the project development.

In April 2011 the Trans Adriatic Pipeline began the formal Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process, with the submission of the Scoping Report. The document was presented to the Albanian national and regional authorities, as well as to more than 100 other relevant stakeholders.

Nei mesi di giugno e luglio 2014, TAP ha trasmesso al MATTM sia documentazione integrativa volontaria sia documentazione in risposta alle richieste di chiarimenti formulate dal MATTM.

TAP ha presentato la versione aggiornata dell’ESIA di TAP al Ministero dell’Ambiente il 10 settembre 2014. Rivisitando integralmente la precedente versione, il documento delinea le nuove caratteristiche del progetto TAP in Italia e riflette le istanze emerse dal costante dialogo con gli enti locali e la popolazione.

TAP submitted its updated Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) to the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea on 10th of September 2013. The latest stage in a process, started in March 2012, will now see the final documentation go to consultation with all relevant national, regional and local authorities.

Il 17 aprile 2014 TAP ha presentato la documentazione integrativa dell’ESIA al Ministero dell’Ambiente, al Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo e ad ogni altra autorità competente.
In risposta alle richieste di integrazioni avanzate dallo stesso Ministero, la documentazione suppletiva, che consta di un documento e 17 allegati per un totale di 1.200 pagine, 50 tavole e un video, contiene repliche alle osservazioni del pubblico e la risposta di TAP al parere negativo espresso sull’ESIA dal Comitato VIA della Regione Puglia.

On 17th April 2014, TAP submitted several documents integrating the ESIA dossier to the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and to all relevant and competent authorities. The documentation that TAP submitted was requested by the Ministry of Environment and includes a main document and 17 attachments amounting to 1,200 pages, 50 tables and one video. The documentation also includes TAP’s answers to public observations and to the negative opinion expressed by the Regional EIA Committee on the ESIA.
