TAP ha aderito alla Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) 2.0, il principale programma di reporting e mitigazione del settore oil&gas all’interno dello United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), iniziativa volontaria delle Nazioni Unite che ha l’obiettivo di supportare le aziende energetiche nel percorso di riduzione delle emissioni di metano.

TAP starts route assesment survey in Albania

The Trans Adriatic Pipeline project started route assesment survey in Albania on 1st of July, 2009. The goal of the survey is to determine an optimal routing for the future pipeline and to avoid problematic areas.

Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary since construction started on TAP, one of Europe’s largest and most strategic natural gas infrastructure projects. Activity in each of the three host countries is on time, on track and on budget. TAP’s contractors cleared approx. 49% of the project route in Greece and Albania (371km out of 765km). Also, 22.6% of welded steel pipes are already in the ground.
